Lord Duncan, UK Government Minister for Scotland and Northern Ireland, visited the Team last week. He found out about the work done by the Climate Justice Fund Water Futures Programme led by Prof. Kalin at the University of Strathclyde and part of the international side of the Scottish Government’s HydroNation agenda.
During the visit, Prof. Kalin presented the goals and aims of the CJF as well as its main projects (i.e. water point mapping or borehole forensics) and Jon Rathjen, Team leader of the Scottish Government Water Industry Team, the higher vision of the HydroNation.
After the visit, Lord Duncan commented: “Fascinating morning with @UniStrathclyde Prof Bob Kalin and his team talking about Malawi’s water crisis, the role of Climate Justice Fund and challenge of meeting @GlobalGoalsUN” and recorded a quick video for Strathclyde University (Link).
