The Team joins the World Water Day events in Edinburgh
On Friday 22nd of March PhD students Laura Kelly, Holly Clark and Donald Robertson attended the World Water Day 2019 events in Edinburgh. The theme for World Water Day 2019 was ‘leave no one behind’ a key underpinning principle of Sustainable Development Goal 6.

The event focused on Scotland’s water resources and service delivery under the impact of drought and low flow conditions and ways in which to build resilience to such events, with contributions made from across the UK’s water sector. The students were delighted to use their Malawi based research to contribute to the ongoing debate and discussions here in Scotland. The ongoing research and knowledge exchange from the CJF programme continues to have an important role to play in informing the discussions around water resources management here in Scotland as well as in Malawi.
The World Water Day 2019 event was organised by the Scottish Government and the James Hutton Institute.
