Two away days with strategic partners have been organised during the months of August (Malawi) and September (Scotland) to discuss the present and future strategy of the Programme.
The away day in Malawi was held in Zomba (Malawi) on 24th August and was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development (MoAIWD), United Purpose, World Vision International, BAWI Consultants and BASEflow. The event was chaired by the Director of the CJF, Prof. Robert Kalin.
Similarly, an away day was celebrated in Glasgow (Scotland) on 4th September and was attended by delegates of the Scottish Government, Scottish Water International, Scottish Environmental Protection Agency, Baseflow, mWater, Strathclyde Centre for Water, Environment, Sustainability and Public Health, Strathclyde Faculty of Engineering and Strathclyde Business School Department of Accounting and Finance.
During these two days, the strategic vision, challenges and areas of improvement were highlighted and discussed. For instance, the key lessons for the past years were analysed and proposals to overcome the problems found agreed.
